Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 29, 2026

This policy describes how Ink & Lantern Studio (“we”) handles data in our internal publishing application at post.inkandlanternstudio.com (the “App”).

1. What the App is

The App is a private, internal publishing tool. It is used only by the studio to upload its own videos to its own YouTube, Instagram and TikTok accounts (channels: Paper Past, Lantern Tales, Lives of the Saints). It is not offered to the public, and registration is closed.

2. Data we access

When the studio connects its accounts, the App receives OAuth access and refresh tokens and basic account information (channel/account name, ID and profile image). Through the YouTube API Services, the App uses Google user data only to upload videos (with titles, descriptions, thumbnails and settings) to the studio’s own channels and to read channel and video analytics. Instagram data is used only to publish the studio’s own media and read its insights.

3. YouTube API Services

The App uses YouTube API Services. By using the App you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google’s handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

4. Google API Services User Data Policy & Limited Use

The App’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used only to provide the features described above; it is not used for advertising, not transferred to others except as necessary to provide these features or as required by law, not sold, and not read by humans except with explicit consent, for security purposes, or as required by law.

5. Sharing

We do not sell, rent, trade or share any user data with third parties.

6. Storage and security

Tokens and account data are stored in a database on the studio’s own server, accessible only to the studio, and transmitted over HTTPS.

7. Retention and deletion

Data is kept only while an account remains connected. To delete data: disconnect the account in the App, which deletes its stored tokens; or revoke access at any time via https://myaccount.google.com/permissions (Google/YouTube) or in your Instagram/Facebook “Apps and Websites” settings. You may also contact us to request deletion of all associated data, which we will complete within 30 days.

8. Changes

We may update this policy; the date above shows the latest version.
